Service-learning

Simmons students often find themselves in classes requiring service-learning. These students are provided with a great environment to learn in while gaining important job skills in the process.

The requirements for service-learning students are:

• Working at least one day (three hours) per week
• Leading one educational activity during the semester
• Tracking the hours worked and providing coordinators with any required paperwork
• Continuing work until the end of the semester even when required hours are fulfilled
• Filling out a CORI form
